Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or cafe/barista role preferred
- Ability to use registers, computers, tablets, and related technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Job Duties
- Welcome customers cheerfully and assist with their beverage and cafe item selections
- Maintain attractive presentation and cleanliness of the cafe area and bakes case
- Unpack and stock deliveries efficiently and accurately
- Operate registers quickly and provide professional customer service
- Prepare food and beverages properly following recipes and quality standards
- Perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks to uphold cafe hygiene and safety
- Support the bookfloor team and participate in loss prevention efforts
