Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation
- Ability to use technology such as registers, computers, and tablets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Job Duties
- Welcome customers in a cheerful and helpful manner
- Answer customer questions and connect them with appropriate beverages and café items
- Maintain attractive presentation and cleanliness of the café
- Unpack and stock deliveries accurately and efficiently
- Operate registers quickly and professionally
- Prepare food and beverages accurately following recipes and guidelines
- Execute daily and weekly cleaning tasks to uphold café hygiene
- Support the bookfloor team as needed
- Follow first in first out (FIFO) practices consistently
- Identify and address loss prevention issues and customer concerns efficiently
