Job Requirements
- Must be able to pass barista training within 2 months of hire
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- restaurant or food service operations experience preferred
- proof of completion of mandatory reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire
- ability to read and write
- adaptability to repetitive and stressful work environments
- physical ability to perform medium work including standing, walking, lifting up to 40 pounds, pushing, pulling, and reaching
- compliance with corporate policies and HIPAA security policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- knowledge of several subjects to prepare reports and perform calculations
- ability to read and write
- restaurant or food service experience preferred
- completion of mandatory reporter abuse training within three months of hire
- ability to pass barista training within two months
- effective communication and customer service skills
- knowledge of food safety codes and regulations
Job Duties
- Use related equipment such as cappuccino machines, coffee grinders, and blenders
- perform opening and closing duties
- operate cash register and handle money accurately
- produce hot and cold food for retail sales
- set up cafe sales by stocking food and supplies

- requisition and replenish food and supplies
- inspect and rotate stock, dispose of outdated items
- wrap, label, and date food items properly
- clean and stock refrigerated display cases
- make coffee, juice, and smoothies
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work, serving, and seating areas
- maintain signage daily
- follow proper cleaning and chemical handling procedures
- practice safety procedures and use protective equipment
- demonstrate effective customer service skills
- prepare food using standardized and non-standardized recipes
- assist in other areas as requested
