Employees must also follow correct cleaning techniques, safely store chemicals in compliance with Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) guidelines, and use personal protective equipment when handling cleaning agents. This position requires physical stamina as it involves standing and walking for prolonged periods, lifting, pushing, pulling, repetitive motions, reaching, stooping, crouching, and occasionally climbing. Adaptability and the ability to perform repetitive functions efficiently under potential stress, while maintaining courteous and cooperative interactions with coworkers, patients, and visitors, are essential qualities.

A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with prior experience in restaurant or food service operations. Employees must also complete mandatory reporter abuse training within three months of hire. This position works rotating shifts, which requires flexibility and commitment to meet service demands in the healthcare environment.
