The Barista role at Hilton is a vital position within the hotel's food and beverage team. Each day, the Barista delights guests by preparing high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages, adhering strictly to standardized recipes to ensure consistency and excellence. Learning the menu in detail enables the Barista to confidently assist guests with inquiries, offering recommendations that enhance their visit. The position requires proficient use of the point-of-sale system to manage orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring prompt service without sacrificing attention to detail. Compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations is a critical responsibility, safeguarding the well-being of guests and colleagues alike.
At Hilton, values such as hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a focus on the present moment are deeply embedded in the culture. These core values inform the way Baristas and all team members interact with guests and each other, fostering an environment where exceptional experiences are created from every interaction. Hilton supports its employees with a variety of benefits designed to promote well-being and financial security. These include travel perks offering discounted stays at Hilton properties worldwide, an employee stock purchase program allowing investment at favorable terms, paid parental leave, and caregiving support services.
Additional support mechanisms such as crisis concierge services, mental health resources through an Employee Assistance Program, generous paid time off, comprehensive health and welfare benefits, and robust retirement savings plans further exemplify Hilton’s dedication to its team members. Employment with Hilton offers not just a job, but a career path enriched by opportunities for advancement and development within an award-winning culture. Working as a Barista at Hilton means becoming an integral part of a global hospitality leader, contributing every day towards creating exceptional moments for guests while nurturing your personal career growth in an environment that values teamwork, accountability, and excellence.
