The role of a part-time Barista within Hilton Atlanta’s Food & Beverage team is both dynamic and integral to delivering the high standards of service Hilton is known for. The Barista position is based at The Market Place, a lively café and sundry shop that offers a variety of gourmet goods ranging from specialty coffees to artisanal sandwiches. This fast-paced environment demands a candidate with strong hospitality skills and a genuine enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service. While prior experience as a barista or cashier is preferred, it is not mandatory, making this a welcoming opportunity for candidates eager to develop or enhance their skills in the food and beverage sector. Key responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, preparing and serving beverage and food orders accurately and efficiently, upselling additional items to boost profitability, and ensuring orders are entered correctly into the computerized system. The Barista will also handle settlements upon order completion and maintain cleanliness standards to meet health and safety regulations. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong interpersonal skills
