Job Description

HVMG, or The Hotel Village Management Group, is a renowned company recognized for its commitment to excellence in the hospitality industry. Operating a diverse portfolio of hotels across the United States, HVMG strives to create outstanding guest experiences while fostering a supportive, inclusive, and dynamic workplace for its associates. The company is dedicated to helping employees grow professionally within the hospitality sector, embracing a culture where career progression and employee well-being are paramount. HVMG's core values are encapsulated in their "Be Excellent" culture, which emphasizes integrity, professionalism, and a collaborative working environment. This ethos is not only reflected in their services but also in how they manage and support their teams at every level.

The role of a Barista at HVMG is a seasonal, part-time position lasting from August 1, 2026, to January 1, 2027. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests by preparing high-quality coffee and specialty beverages with both speed and precision. This position requires a friendly and professional demeanor, as you will be the face of the morning experience for many guests. Delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to brand and quality standards are fundamental to this role. Working in a fast-paced environment such as this demands excellent multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to engage warmly with customers.

Beyond the daily duties, the Barista position offers opportunities for career advancement within the hospitality industry. Many who start as baristas move on to roles such as bartenders, beverage managers, or other leadership positions in food and beverage management. For applicants with previous hospitality experience, especially in hotels, this role will be particularly suitable, but no formal education is required. Qualifications include an ability to communicate effectively, meet physical demands such as standing and lifting, and availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

HVMG supports its associates with various benefits like flexible scheduling, paid time off, healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, and employee discounts on hotel stays and food and beverage. A notable benefit includes access to earned wages before payday through PayActive. The company also offers a 401(k) plan with a guaranteed 4% match and no vesting period, exemplifying their commitment to long-term employee welfare. This role reports to the Beverage Manager or Bistro Supervisor, providing clear management oversight and support.

This seasonal Barista opportunity at HVMG is an excellent chance for motivated individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service to join a company that truly values its employees and invests in their growth and success. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering excellent service with a smile, this position will be rewarding both personally and professionally.
