We are currently seeking a motivated Part-Time Barista to join our Food and Beverage Department. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about coffee culture and customer service who want to develop their skills within a robust and supportive hospitality operation. The Part-Time Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso drinks, blended coffees, and teas, catering to the preferences of our esteemed guests. Alongside beverage preparation, the Barista will engage in food and beverage sales in the Club's dining areas, ensuring guests receive prompt and courteous service.

The position involves operating and maintaining coffee-making equipment, performing preventive maintenance to uphold quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will also participate in ongoing training related to food, wine, and service education to continually enhance their knowledge and service capabilities. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holiday shifts is essential to meet the dynamic needs of the hospitality environment.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work early mornings, Friday - Sunday and holiday shifts as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of food and beverage, tourism and hospitality industry
  • Serve Safe Certification preferred
  • Ability to multitask and have great communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve beverages like coffee, blended coffees, espresso drinks, and teas whether hot or cold and all other drink orders requested by our guests
  • Perform general and preventive maintenance on machines used for coffee making regularly
  • Sell and serve food and beverage to guests in the club's dining outlets
  • Execute all duties as requested by immediate supervisors
  • Understand and perform basic table service
  • Responsible for ongoing food, wine and service education provided by management
