The role of Barista at Valor Hospitality is a vital position within the team, directly contributing to guest satisfaction and the overall quality of the beverage service experience. Reporting to the Beverage Manager, the Barista is responsible for the set-up, preparation, and service of coffee and other beverages, ensuring adherence to company standards for quality and safety. The Barista also handles the clean-up of the coffee bar area and takes part in maintaining inventory levels and the smooth operation of the beverage service.

Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent experience
- three to six months in a food or beverage services environment or establishment
- able to mix drinks correctly
- provide exceptional service to all guests
- able to multitask and handle equipment especially in a bar using modern technology
- manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items and balance and carry trays loaded with food and beverage
- able to read, speak and understand English
- communicate information and hotel services to management, staff, and guests

Job Duties
- Make and serve drinks to guests following established guidelines, procedures, and policies regarding beverage and safety controls as prescribed by company standards
- perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner
- maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction
- ring guest checks
- collect cash and process credits and room charges in the exact manner outlined by company policies and procedures
- complete requisitions and supply lists
- ensure established pars are maintained
- perform all side work duties
