Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous barista or relevant experience
  • Ability to handle food according to HACCP guidelines
  • Ability to operate POS systems
  • Friendly and courteous demeanor
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work area
  • Availability to work part-time Monday through Thursday

Job Duties

  • Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
  • Enter orders accurately into POS device and accept cash and charge payments
  • Replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
  • Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures while following HACCP standards
  • Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
  • Greet customers courteously and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Relay relevant concerns from customers to supervisors
