Job Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
prior barista experience preferred
ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds
ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects with fine motor skills
ability to move through confined or elevated spaces
ability to work part time
availability to work in Seattle, Washington
ability to follow company policies and maintain professional appearance

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
prior barista experience preferred
excellent communication skills
ability to operate cash register and MICROS system
strong customer service orientation
ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
able to follow safety and security policies and procedures

Job Duties

Complete opening and closing duties including setting up supplies and tools
clean all equipment, work areas, tables, and dishes throughout the day
input orders into cash register system and collect payment from customers
prepare food and coffee beverages accurately using MICROS system
ensure appliances such as coffee makers are turned on/off at appropriate times
bus coffee cart areas and tables
count cash bank at end of shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank
follow all company safety and security policies and report unsafe conditions
welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests
maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
develop positive working relationships with team members
stand, walk, move, lift, and perform physical tasks required by the role
