We are currently hiring for part-time Barista positions at the Capital One Cafe located at 425 Revolution Drive, Somerville, MA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering top-quality coffee and foodservice to customers in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. The pay range for this position is between $19.00 and $20.00 per hour, reflecting the company's commitment to offering competitive compensation.
As a Barista with Eurest, you will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee, espresso drinks, and other related food and beverage items according to established recipes and quality standards. You will interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner, ensuring a positive experience with every interaction. Adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines, specifically HACCP standards, is critical to this role to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and food handling.
This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to work weekends and varying days and hours. Eurest values hospitality experience but is also willing to train the right candidates who demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. The role involves accurately entering orders using POS systems, handling cash and charge payments, replenishing supplies, and maintaining an orderly and clean workspace.
Furthermore, the Barista will uphold product presentation and portion control, ensuring that all food and beverage items are served attractively and at proper temperatures. This role also includes advocating sales techniques by effectively communicating menu options and assisting customers with their purchasing decisions.

Job Duties
