Job Requirements
- Hospitality experience required
- Ability to work part-time hours including weekends
- Willingness to be trained
- Ability to follow HACCP food safety guidelines
- Must be able to perform essential job functions satisfactorily
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
Job Qualifications
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to interact pleasantly with customers
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math skills for handling payments and POS use
- Ability to work varying shifts including weekends
- Willingness to learn and be trained
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Team player with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Make and serve coffee and espresso drinks and related food and beverage items
- Handle food according to HACCP guidelines and standards
- Interact with customers and employees in a friendly, courteous manner
- Prepare espresso orders using standard measures and recipes
- Enter orders accurately into POS device and handle cash and charge payments
- Replenish condiments, beverages and supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures
- Maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils
- Greet customers courteously and ensure customer satisfaction
- Relay customer concerns to supervisors
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently
- Explain daily menu items accurately to customers
- Advocate selling techniques by assisting customers in buying decisions
- Merchandise display foods attractively per standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
