Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior barista experience preferred
  • ability to work flexible part-time hours including weekends
  • capability to stand for extended periods
  • excellent customer service skills
  • basic math skills for handling cash transactions
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Prior barista experience preferred
  • ability to prepare and serve coffee and espresso drinks
  • familiarity with POS systems
  • knowledge of HACCP food safety standards
  • strong customer service and communication skills
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation
  • ability to work varying hours including weekends

Job Duties

  • Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
  • enter orders accurately into POS device and accept cash and charge payments
  • replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
  • ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
  • greet customers courteously and interact to ensure customer satisfaction
  • explain daily menu items accurately and assist customers in the buying decision-making process
