The Barista role at Oak View Group plays a vital part in contributing to exceptional guest experiences at their venues. This position is responsible for efficiently operating the cash register, accurately processing payments, and preparing a variety of concession items and beverages including specialty coffees and alcoholic drinks, ensuring all offerings consistently meet quality standards. Baristas must present products attentively and provide friendly, prompt service to guests, reinforcing OVG's reputation for excellence in hospitality. Maintaining a clean and organized environment while adhering to sanitation, health, and safety regulations is also key to this role. The Barista will be equipped to operate essential equipment like blenders, coffee machines, and espresso machines, and must be diligent about stock management by communicating supply needs to management. Responsible service of alcoholic beverages, including checking IDs per state and federal regulations, is required.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Three or more months experience in the food service industry preferred
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Ability to learn to handle cash and learn to operate a cash register and corresponding system
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers and guests

Job Duties
- Conduct the cash register sales by entering the orders and completing the transaction
- Memorize and use the recipe book
- Operate a blender, coffee machine, and espresso machine
- Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels and communicating low-stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager
- Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including but not limited to the disposal of garbage and cleaning dishes
- Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, responsibly
- Check guest's ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages
- Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
