Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience
- Previous cash handling experience
- ServSafe Food Handler certification
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience in food, beverage and/or retail environment
- Previous coffee house and/or hotel experience preferred
- Previous cash handling and face-to-face customer service experience required
- Ability to accurately input information into MICROS
- Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers in and outside the department
- Ability to prioritize and follow up on guest requests in a fast-paced environment
- ServSafe Food Handler certified
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods or entire shifts
Job Duties
- Communicate effectively with guests and associates
- Listen to, understand, and clarify concerns raised by co-workers and guests
- Remain professional in all situations
- Work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Maintain proper uniform and grooming standards
- Ensure lobby public areas are clean by coordinating with housekeeping
- Assist with monthly inventory
- Maintain a clean workspace throughout the shift
- Follow proper procedures for accepting credit cards and checks
- Maintain a cash bank
- Verify guest room numbers for room charges
- Interact with other departments to satisfy guest needs
- Adhere to proper food handling procedures
- Demonstrate proper knowledge of equipment use and safety procedures
