We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our Presidents House Coffee team as Baristas on an on-call basis. This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about delivering outstanding guest service in a fast-paced environment. As an on-call Barista, you will play a key role in providing quick, efficient, and professional service, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include restocking merchandise, maintaining the cleanliness of the coffee bar, and supporting a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a strong focus on maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

Job Requirements

minimum 1 year customer service experience
previous cash handling experience
ability to input information into MICROS
ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining calm demeanor
ability to work cohesively with co-workers
ability to prioritize and follow up on guest requests
TABC and food handler certification
ability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds
ability to stand or walk for extended periods

Job Qualifications

minimum 1 year customer service experience in food/beverage and/or retail environment
previous coffee house and/or hotel experience preferred
previous cash handling and face to face customer service experience required
ability to accurately and efficiently input information into MICROS
ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor
ability to work cohesively with co-workers within and outside of department
ability to prioritize, organize, and follow up on guest requests and needs in a fast-paced environment
must be TABC and food handler certified
must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

verify guest room numbers for room charges
interact with other departments to ensure guest needs are satisfied
adhere to proper food handling procedures
have proper knowledge of equipment uses and safety procedures
