Currently, Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Baristas to join its team at the upcoming Nu Stadium in Miami, Florida. Nu Stadium is a state-of-the-art soccer stadium set to open in 2026 as the future home of Inter Miami CF. This premier venue promises to be an entertainment hub hosting world-class soccer matches, concerts, and live events year-round. Delaware North will be leading the stadium concessions, providing premium food and beverage services that highlight Miami's rich cultural heritage while elevating classic stadium favorites.
As a Barista at Nu Stadium, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent guest service by mastering coffee knowledge and recipes, educating both teammates and customers about the products, and preparing beverages in accordance with brand standards. This position emphasizes not only the technical skill of coffee crafting but also the importance of a welcoming and engaging guest experience. The role is hourly, with a pay range of $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, excluding any tips earned during shifts.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- excellent communication skills
- ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- prior food and beverage service experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience as a barista or in food service preferred
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation techniques beneficial
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet guests, acquaint guests with items, and use suggestive selling techniques
- serve food and beverage items in correct proportions, following all health, safety, and proper sanitation guidelines
- assist in the opening or closing of the location
- perform clean-up duties to maintain the quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment
- properly record all transactions via the point of sale system and inform guests of the amount owed
- collect the proper money for food and beverage items
- process credit cards or determine correct change for guests
- account for all transactions
- maintain accurate cash count and balance banks at the end of the shift
- perform other duties as assigned
