Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in customer service or barista roles preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques is a plus
  • Willingness to participate in all training programs
  • Ability to work well within a team environment

Job Duties

  • Ensure exceptional customer service by representing DMC's core values with customer engagement
  • Comprehend and retain knowledge of current and upcoming products through email releases and flawlessly execute all QC feedback forms and quizzes on time
  • Use materials for guidance to maintain a clean and presentable workplace and service area
  • Fully comprehend proper channels of communication in every scenario
  • Communicate exceptionally with assistant managers and store managers on current store events to drive performance
  • Engage with new staff members in the barista training program to assist in skills and development
  • Protect and maintain company assets and equipment and communicate all issues to store leadership to resolve issues efficiently
  • Train and understand DMC equipment function
  • Train and understand POS and cash handling procedures
  • Train and understand DMC espresso bar and brewing skills, including handcraft methods
