Job Requirements

Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
Availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems
Must comply with all company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in customer service or barista roles preferred
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques is a plus
Willingness to participate in all training programs
Ability to work well within a team environment

Job Duties

Ensure exceptional customer service by representing DMC's core values with customer engagement
Comprehend and retain knowledge of current and upcoming products through email releases and flawlessly execute all QC feedback forms and quizzes on time
Use materials for guidance to maintain a clean and presentable workplace and service area
Fully comprehend proper channels of communication in every scenario
Communicate exceptionally with assistant managers and store managers on current store events to drive performance
Engage with new staff members in the barista training program to assist in skills and development
Protect and maintain company assets and equipment and communicate all issues to store leadership to resolve issues efficiently
Train and understand DMC equipment function
Train and understand POS and cash handling procedures
Train and understand DMC espresso bar and brewing skills, including handcraft methods
