Job Requirements

High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work
minimum 1 year of barista experience or food & beverage experience
valid Food Handler’s License
valid State Driver’s License
knowledge of coffee and tea blends
availability to work on weekends and/or holidays
proficient ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and prioritizing workload throughout the day
friendly and professional manner under periods of high demands with guest, team members, and management

Job Qualifications

exceptional listening and communicating skills
valid Food Handler’s License
valid State Driver’s License
knowledge of coffee and tea blends
ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and prioritizing workload throughout the day
friendly and professional manner under periods of high demands with guest, team members, and management

Job Duties

Stocking, grinding, blending and brewing coffee and tea for guests
packaging food and beverage for the guests
assist in opening duties associated with opening the restaurant
know the sequence of service and follow it each time when approaching a table
understanding the difference between different coffee/tea blends and providing education to guests and servers
answer questions pertaining to the restaurant menus
keep up-to-date knowledge on all menu items including preparation, any allergens, and alternative preparations, and specials
communicate food restrictions to Food & Beverage and Culinary team
assist pastry chef in packaging food
converse with the guests at a high level, being aware of their needs and fulfill special guest requests as instructed by management or the guest directly
ensure confidentiality of guests before and throughout their stay
assist with guest service issues accurately and promptly
communicate effectively with Restaurant Manager to assist
maintain up-to-date awareness of Resort information and amenities
work in collaboration with other teammates to deliver guests expectations
maintain a clean and organized workstation
stay up to date on brewing methods, beverage blends and presentation methods
perform opening and closing duties
follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
