The company places a high value on diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring equal employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender, pregnancy, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, military status, veteran status, or other legally protected characteristics. Aramark fosters a supportive work environment that promotes professional growth, skill development, and personal fulfillment. Employees are encouraged to pursue challenges, discover their passions, and achieve their full potential within the organization.

The Barista Lead position at Aramark is a vital role that combines exceptional customer service with operational leadership in a fast-paced coffee bar environment. This position requires a dynamic individual who can craft memorable experiences for customers by delivering timely service, preparing quality beverages and food items, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. As a lead, the Barista Lead helps train and guide baristas on beverage preparation, food handling, customer interaction, cash handling, and product knowledge to ensure brand standards are consistently met. This role includes responsibility for operating a register/POS system accurately, processing cash and credit card transactions, balancing cash drawers, and adhering strictly to Aramark's cash handling policies.

The Barista Lead also supports daily operations by setting up and breaking down the coffee bar, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation following health and safety guidelines, stocking inventory including beverages and grab-and-go items, and potentially scheduling and delegating tasks to team members. This position requires excellent communication skills to anticipate and respond promptly to customer needs while upholding food safety and quality standards. The hourly compensation ranges between $21.00 and $23.00, a competitive wage reflecting the skills and leadership expected in this role. Aramark offers comprehensive benefits that may include medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings options like 401(k), paid time off such as parental leave and disability coverage, alongside work-life balance resources.

Working as a Barista Lead at Aramark not only means contributing to excellent customer experiences but also developing leadership and operational competencies in a supportive and growth-oriented workplace. The position may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extensive walking and standing, and may require the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to dress codes. Candidates interested in this role will find a career opportunity that encourages continuous learning, teamwork, and a chance to build a rewarding career in the hospitality and service industry.
