As a Barista Lead, you will be responsible for creating hand-crafted beverages including coffee, espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, teas, chai, and fruit blends, ensuring every drink is prepared to perfection with a focus on fair-trade and high-quality ingredients. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous related experience preferred
- Ability to work varying shifts including early mornings and weekends
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Capable of standing for extended periods
- Ability to operate cash registers and handle transactions
- Open availability preferred
Job Qualifications
- Team-oriented and adaptable
- Reliable and nurturing a healthy/safe working environment
- Previous experience in customer service
- Experience in food preparation, sanitation and inventory control preferred
- Starbucks Barista certification may be required at some locations
Job Duties
- Greet customers, take orders, mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks
- Record all sales, collect cash/credit card/electronic payments and operate a cash register
- Clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, restrooms and preparation areas
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
