The role of Barista II at Sodexo, located at the University of Tampa, is much more than just preparing coffee beverages – it is about creating a warm, welcoming experience for customers while upholding the principles of fair trade and craftsmanship. As a Barista II, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality handcrafted beverages, such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, tea, chai, and fruit smoothies. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service or food service preferred
- Ability to operate cash registers and handle payments accurately
- Capability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards

Job Duties
- Greet customers and take orders
- Mix and serve hot and cold beverages including coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte, tea, chai, and fruit smoothies
- Operate cash registers by processing cash, credit, and electronic payments
- Clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, restrooms, and preparation spaces
- Attend scheduled shifts on time and maintain consistent attendance
- Perform additional assigned tasks as needed, dependent on business and client requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and hygiene
