Sodexo believes in acting with purpose and enabling employees to thrive in their unique ways, making everyday actions impactful not just within the company but also in the communities they serve.
The Barista II position at Sodexo is a full-time role, primarily based at a pharmaceutical company location and involves working weekdays only with specific shifts. The pay range for this position is $17 to $19 per hour. This role goes beyond simply preparing coffee–it is about being an artisan of handcrafted and high-quality beverages and food, championing fair-trade principles, and creating moments of joy for customers. Baristas at Sodexo engage customers warmly by greeting them, taking their orders, preparing a diverse array of hot and cold drinks such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte, tea, chai, and fruit blends, and handling sales transactions including cash and electronic payments.
Additionally, Barista IIs maintain cleanliness and sanitation in their workspaces and common areas to ensure a pleasant and safe environment. This role also requires punctuality and adaptability, as duties may vary slightly depending on client needs or business requirements. Sodexo supports its baristas by providing ongoing training and development opportunities, promoting career advancement, and fostering a flexible and supportive work environment that recognizes the importance of life outside work.
Working as a Barista II with Sodexo offers an opportunity to be part of something greater by contributing to better everyday experiences for customers and colleagues alike. Employees are encouraged to bring their full selves to work and are valued for their unique contributions, ensuring a healthy and respectful workplace culture. Beyond competitive wages, Sodexo extends a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, holidays, medical and dental coverage, vision care, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) plans, employee discount programs, and potentially site-specific perks such as free meals during shifts, uniforms, safety shoes, transportation support, and parking. This environment provides not only a job but a fulfilling career path where individuals can grow professionally while making a meaningful impact.
