The Barista II role at Sodexo, based at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, offers full-time employment with a pay range of $12.50 to $14.00 per hour. This position involves varying shifts with open availability preferred, providing flexibility that aligns with life’s important moments. As a Barista II, you will be the face of Sodexo’s coffee service, crafting high-quality, hand-made beverages such as espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, and fruit blends. Beyond preparing beverages, you will handle customer interactions with warmth and professionalism, operate cash registers, and ensure your workspace is spotless. This role demands more than just technical skills; it requires the ability to positively influence customers' day by making them smile and feel valued.

Working as a Barista II means being a dedicated team player who maintains a safe and healthy working environment. It’s a dynamic role where you will perform various duties depending on the client and location, from cleaning coffee machines and restrooms to recording sales and managing electronic payments. Previous experience in customer service, food preparation, sanitation, and inventory control will be advantageous. Some locations may require Starbucks Barista certification, underscoring the importance of quality beverage preparation.
