Physical stamina is essential, as the position requires standing or walking for extended periods and the ability to lift items up to 50 pounds occasionally. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and inventory control
  • Ability to handle cash and operate register
  • Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Open availability preferred for varying shifts
  • Reliable and punctual attendance
  • Basic math and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Customer service related work experience
  • Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation standards, and inventory control systems
  • Ability to operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work varied shifts and maintain punctuality
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests and provide quick, friendly, and personalized service
  • Mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, cafe latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks, etc., while considering customer specifications
  • Maintain good customer relations and ensure speedy delivery of beverages and food items
  • Educate guests regarding menu offerings and initiate suggestive selling
  • Arrange coffee bar/cart supplies and cups/mugs to make attractive displays
  • Clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, and preparation areas regularly
  • Record all sales, collect money, operate a cash register, and follow all cash-handling procedures
  • Walk or stand for extended periods and carry out physical tasks such as lifting up to 35 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
  • Attend scheduled shifts on time with regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
