Daily cleaning of coffee machines, preparation areas, and restaurant zones forms a part of maintaining hygiene and operational standards. The role involves handling cash registers, recording sales, and following all cash-handling procedures with accuracy. Physical stamina is crucial, as the job requires the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, sometimes exceeding eight hours per shift, as well as the capability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Sodexo emphasizes the importance of regular attendance and punctuality, with an expectation that employees show up for their scheduled shifts reliably. Benefits include paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, 401k retirement plans, and various discount programs. Some locations may additionally provide site-specific perks such as free meals during shifts, uniforms, safety footwear, transportation support, and parking options.

In summary, joining Sodexo as a Barista I means becoming part of a company that values your individuality, fosters professional development, and is dedicated to making a positive difference in the communities it serves.
