Bon Appetit is actively hiring for full-time and part-time Barista positions at its Disney Studios location in Glendale, California. As a Barista at Bon Appetit, your core responsibility will be to prepare and serve espresso and coffee drinks along with related food and beverage items. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
  • Enter orders accurately into POS device
  • accept cash and charge payments
  • Replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
  • Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
  • follow HACCP standards
  • Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
  • Ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
  • Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
  • Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments
  • Greet customers courteously and interact in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Relay relevant concerns from customers to supervisors
  • Serve customers quickly and efficiently, preventing delays in serving lines
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to customers
  • Serve as an advocate of selling techniques to the customer by establishing good communication and assisting in buying decision-making
  • Ensure all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards
  • Serve food neatly and attractively per standard
  • Perform other duties as assigned
