The role available is a full-time Barista position based at the University of Portland located at 5000 North Willamette Boulevard, Portland, OR. This position offers a competitive hourly pay range of $18.00 to $19.00 and requires candidates to have previous barista experience along with a valid Food Handler's card. The barista will primarily work the Monday through Friday morning shift, and further details about the schedule will be provided during the interview process.

As a Barista at Bon Appetit, you will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee, espresso drinks, and related food and beverage items. This role requires adherence to HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety and quality standards are met throughout service. You will interact directly with customers and colleagues, providing friendly, courteous service and efficient transaction management. Key responsibilities include preparing espresso orders using standard measures, accurately entering orders into the POS system, handling cash and card payments, and maintaining an organized, clean work environment. Attention to detail is critical for presenting food and beverages attractively, maintaining proper serving temperatures, and replenishing condiments and supplies as needed.
