We are currently seeking a full-time Barista for our FSW Dunkin Donuts location at 8099 College Parkway, Fort Myers, FL. This position works Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with additional schedule details provided during the interview process. The hourly pay range for this role is between $15.00 and $16.00. The ideal candidate may have previous barista experience, but we are also willing to train enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about delivering great customer service. As a Barista at Canteen, you will play a key role in preparing and serving coffee and espresso drinks, as well as other food and beverage items, while maintaining high standards for food safety and customer satisfaction. You will operate POS systems, manage cash and credit transactions, and ensure the cleanliness and organization of your work area. The role demands attention to quality and presentation, following HACCP guidelines and standard recipes to deliver delicious products in a timely manner. Excellent customer interaction skills are essential, as you will serve customers quickly and courteously, actively communicating and addressing their needs to ensure a positive experience.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
  • enters orders accurately into POS device
  • accepts cash and charge payments
  • replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
  • ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
  • follows HACCP standards
  • maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
  • greets customers courteously and interacts in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction
  • serves customers quickly and efficiently to prevent delays
  • demonstrates understanding of daily menu items and explains them to customers accurately
  • assists in the buying decision-making process through effective communication
  • ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards
  • cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving
  • performs other duties as assigned
