The role open at Morrison Healthcare is for a full-time Barista position located at Baptist North Little Rock, 333 Springhill Drive, North Little Rock, AR. This position offers a fixed hourly pay rate of $16.00 and entails working Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, including some holidays. The schedule provides weekends and most holidays off, offering a balanced work-life arrangement. As a Barista, the candidate will be responsible for making and serving coffee and espresso drinks along with related food and beverage items. This job requires adherence to food safety guidelines such as HACCP and maintaining the highest standards in food presentation, portion control, and temperature management.
Previous experience in food service is required, with barista experience preferred, to ensure the efficient and friendly delivery of service to customers and internal clients like patients and caregivers. This role involves preparing espresso orders, accurately handling payments through a POS system, maintaining cleanliness of the service area, and ensuring customer satisfaction through courteous interaction and product knowledge. The Barista will contribute directly to maintaining a hygienic and inviting service environment by following sanitation practices and equipment maintenance.

Job Requirements
- Previous food service experience required
- Ability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily with or without accommodation
- Availability to work full-time Monday through Friday, including some holidays
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate POS devices
- Compliance with HACCP food safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous food service experience required
- Previous barista experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Competency in handling cash and POS systems

Job Duties
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- Enters orders accurately into POS device and accepts cash and charge payments
- Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures, follows HACCP standards
- Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- Greets customers courteously and interacts in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- Demonstrates understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers
