BARISTA (FULL TIME)

We are currently hiring full-time Baristas for our Starbucks location at 24255 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA 90263. This position offers a competitive fixed pay rate of $21.00 per hour and includes an internal employee referral bonus. Baristas play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by preparing and serving coffee and espresso drinks along with related food and beverage items. This role requires adherence to HACCP guidelines and quality food-service standards to ensure safety and consistency. The working schedule offers full-time hours with varying days and times, including open availability. Candidates will receive more detailed scheduling information during the interview process.

As a Barista, you will interact with customers and team members in a friendly and courteous manner, ensuring a positive atmosphere in the cafe. Your responsibilities will include preparing espresso orders accurately using standard recipes, entering orders into the POS system, handling payments, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and service areas, and replenishing supplies. You will ensure the proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures of all food and beverage items while following company standards. Additionally, you will be expected to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the menu, assist customers with selections, and contribute to efficient service to minimize wait times.
