We are currently hiring for an immediate full-time Barista position located at Zoetis Kalamazoo, 333 Portage Road, Kalamazoo, MI 49007. This role offers an hourly pay rate of $18.00 and a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday with convenient working hours: Monday through Thursday from 6:15 am to 3:15 pm and Friday from 7:15 am to 12:15 pm. The Barista role at Eurest involves preparing and serving quality coffee and espresso drinks, along with related food and beverage items, in a professional and courteous manner. The responsibilities include accurately entering orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system, managing cash and charge transactions, and ensuring that food handling complies with the highest safety and hygiene standards, such as HACCP guidelines. Baristas maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of their service area and equipment, replenish supplies, and ensure food presentation meets company standards. Excellent customer interaction skills are essential to promote satisfaction, support purchasing decisions, and quickly address any customer concerns or queries.

Besides coffee preparation, this role requires attention to detail in food quality, portion control, and display merchandising to create an attractive and inviting environment. The barista plays a crucial part in supporting smooth operations and preventing delays in service lines by efficiently serving customers. Training and knowledge of the daily menu enable baristas to suggest products and assist customers effectively.
