The company is steadfast in its promise to create solutions and live up to the expectations set forth by its clients and communities alike.

We are currently hiring for a full-time Barista position at our UHC location, situated at 9800 Health Care Lane, Hopkins, MN 55343. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality coffee and espresso beverages alongside related food and drink items to our customers. Candidates who bring previous barista or Caribou Coffee experience are preferred, as this background will help ensure a seamless integration into our service standards and operations. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with every other Friday off, with hours that may vary; further details will be shared during the interview process. We offer competitive compensation ranging from $19.00 to $20.00 per hour.

As a Barista with Eurest, you are more than a coffee maker; you become an ambassador for service excellence. Your role involves crafting espresso orders and beverages with precision, following standardized recipes and measures to maintain consistency and quality. Utilizing point-of-sale (POS) systems, you will accurately take customer orders and manage transactions efficiently. You will also maintain the cleanliness and restocking of the service area, including replenishing condiments and beverages to keep operations running smoothly and customers satisfied.

A key aspect of your responsibilities includes adhering to HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelines to ensure food safety and quality. You are expected to present and serve food and drinks attractively while maintaining appropriate portion controls and serving temperatures. Hygiene and sanitation are paramount; thus, you will be responsible for cleaning and organizing equipment, utensils, and workstations to meet our stringent standards.

Excellent customer service is fundamental to this role. You will greet customers warmly, efficiently serve them to prevent delays, and skillfully guide them through the menu offerings. This role requires a friendly demeanor and the ability to communicate effectively to facilitate positive customer interactions and promote selling techniques that enhance the buying experience. Making quick decisions to resolve any customer concerns by involving supervisors when necessary will be a part of your daily routine.

Eurest provides an enriching work environment supported by a comprehensive benefits package. We believe in rewarding our associates with valuable benefits such as retirement plans, health and wellness programs, and voluntary benefits including critical illness and accident insurance. Full-time employees enjoy medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, alongside flexible spending accounts, commuter benefits, and employee assistance programs. Our associates also have access to perks like employee discounts, meal plans, free parking, and internal referral bonuses. We encourage all interested candidates to apply as applications are accepted continuously until all openings are filled. At Eurest and Compass Group, we uphold a drug-free workplace and are dedicated to accommodating all employees to perform essential duties successfully with or without reasonable accommodations. Join us and be part of an organization that values diversity, quality, and community integration while building your career in the vibrant foodservice industry.
