Job Requirements
- Previous barista experience required
- ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation
- basic math skills
- ability to follow food safety regulations
- ability to stand for long periods
- reliable and punctual
- excellent interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous barista experience
- customer service skills
- knowledge of HACCP food safety guidelines
- ability to operate POS systems
- strong communication skills
- ability to work full time on assigned schedule
- attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
Job Duties
- Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- enter orders accurately into POS device
- accept cash and charge payments
- replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies
- maintain cleanliness of service area
- ensure proper food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures
- follow HACCP standards
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils
- clean equipment and workstation thoroughly
- greet customers courteously and ensure customer satisfaction
- relay customer concerns to supervisors
- serve customers quickly and efficiently
- demonstrate complete understanding of daily menu items and explain to customers
- employ selling techniques to assist customer buying decisions
- ensure display foods are merchandised attractively
- serve food neatly and attractively
- perform other duties as assigned
