Job Requirements

  • Previous barista experience required
  • ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation
  • basic math skills
  • ability to follow food safety regulations
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • reliable and punctual
  • excellent interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous barista experience
  • customer service skills
  • knowledge of HACCP food safety guidelines
  • ability to operate POS systems
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work full time on assigned schedule
  • attention to detail in food preparation and presentation

Job Duties

  • Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
  • enter orders accurately into POS device
  • accept cash and charge payments
  • replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies
  • maintain cleanliness of service area
  • ensure proper food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures
  • follow HACCP standards
  • maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils
  • clean equipment and workstation thoroughly
  • greet customers courteously and ensure customer satisfaction
  • relay customer concerns to supervisors
  • serve customers quickly and efficiently
  • demonstrate complete understanding of daily menu items and explain to customers
  • employ selling techniques to assist customer buying decisions
  • ensure display foods are merchandised attractively
  • serve food neatly and attractively
  • perform other duties as assigned
