Job Requirements

  • some barista experience required
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to work full-time schedule
  • availability monday through friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • ability to perform job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • willingness to undergo Florida Level 2 background screening if applicable
  • ability to maintain sanitation and food safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • knowledge of HACCP food safety standards
  • experience with POS systems
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
  • enter orders accurately into POS device
  • accept cash and charge payments
  • replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
  • ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures according to HACCP standards
  • maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils
  • greet customers courteously and interact to ensure customer satisfaction
  • relay customer concerns to supervisors
  • serve customers quickly and efficiently to prevent delays
  • demonstrate understanding of daily menu items and explain to customers
  • advocate selling techniques and assist customers in buying decisions
  • ensure attractive merchandising and neat serving of food
  • perform other duties as assigned
