Job Description
Fooda is a pioneering company founded in 2011 in Chicago, rooted in an innovative solution to a common lunchtime problem faced by office workers. The original concept was sparked by a group of employees at a major logistics company who wanted to enjoy authentic, diverse cuisine without leaving the office. Fooda revolutionized the food service industry by introducing the concept of rotating popup restaurants inside workplaces, connecting local chefs and their unique culinary offerings with hungry employees right where they work. This innovative approach eliminated the hassle of commuting to various lunch spots, saving time and money for employees, while simultaneously supporting local restaurants and chefs. Over the years, Fooda has grown substantially and now operates in 45 cities across the United States, serving over 100 million meals through a vast network of more than 3,500 restaurants. The company’s mission is to create food programs that employees look forward to each day and to make workplace dining a valuable and enjoyable perk for organizations of all sizes and types, including offices, hospital settings, schools, and distribution centers. Studies show that 80% of employees rate Fooda as one of their company’s top perks, underscoring the impact and positive reception of its services.
