The Barista position at Eurest represents a critical role within their service team. This is a full-time opportunity based at Astra Zeneca Kendal, located at 290 Binney Street, Cambridge, MA. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, offering regular weekday hours that support work-life balance. Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $26.00 per hour, reflecting experience and skill levels. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality espresso drinks and other coffee beverages, adhering strictly to established recipes and quality standards. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a barista or in a foodservice role preferred
- Ability to work a full-time schedule Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:30 pm
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow food safety and HACCP guidelines
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to adhere to company policies including drug-free workplace standards
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- Enter orders accurately into POS device
- accept cash and charge payments
- Replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- follow HACCP standards
- Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- Ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
- Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
- Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments
- Greet customers courteously and interact in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- Relay relevant concerns from customers to supervisors
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently, and prevent delays in serving lines
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to customers
- Serve as an advocate of selling techniques to the customer by establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision-making process
- Ensure all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards
- Serve food neatly and attractively per standard
- Perform other duties as assigned
