Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience preferred
- Ability to work full time with open availability including days, nights, and weekends
- Ability to follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Good communication skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Drug-free workplace compliance
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience preferred
- Ability to handle food according to HACCP guidelines
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience in cash handling and POS operation
- Knowledge of coffee and espresso drink preparation
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in work area
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, and weekends
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Job Duties
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- Enters orders accurately into POS device
- Accepts cash and charge payments
- Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
- Greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction
- Relays relevant concerns from customers to supervisors
- Serves customers quickly and efficiently, preventing delays in serving lines
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and explains them accurately
- Advocates selling techniques by establishing good communication and assisting in customer buying decisions
- Ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively
- Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area
- Performs other duties as assigned
