Job Requirements
- Prior barista experience is required
- Ability to work full time Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to the Brooklyn Park location
- Willingness to follow company policies and food safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Prior barista experience
- Ability to follow HACCP food safety guidelines
- Customer service skills
- Experience with POS systems
- Knowledge of food preparation and presentation standards
- Ability to work full time Monday through Friday morning shifts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes
- Enters orders accurately into POS device
- accepts cash and charge payments
- Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- Follows HACCP food safety standards
- Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils
- Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments
- Greets customers courteously and ensures customer satisfaction
- Serves customers quickly and efficiently, preventing delays in serving lines
- Demonstrates knowledge of daily menu items and communicates details to customers
- Advocates sales techniques to assist customers in decision making
- Ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
