Job Requirements
- Prior barista experience preferred
- Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Ability to operate POS systems
- Must be able to work in an educational facility environment
Job Qualifications
- Prior barista experience preferred
- Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner
- Basic math skills to handle cash transactions
- Attention to detail in food preparation and sanitation
- Ability to follow established food safety and HACCP standards
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn and be trained
Job Duties
- Makes and serves coffee and espresso drinks and related food and beverage items
- Handles food according to HACCP guidelines and standards for quality food-service operations
- Prepares espresso orders using standard measures and recipes
- Enters orders accurately into POS device and accepts payments
- Replenishes condiments, beverages, and supplies while maintaining cleanliness
- Ensures proper food preparation using approved recipes and portion control
- Greets customers courteously and ensures customer satisfaction
- Maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils
- Serves customers quickly and efficiently and prevents delays in service
- Demonstrates knowledge of daily menu items and assists customers in buying decisions
- Merchandises display foods attractively and serves food neatly
- Performs other duties as assigned
