This role is for the position of Barista at the Auto-Owners Dining Center located in Lansing, MI. The Barista will work from Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends, between 6:00 am and 1:00 pm, making this an ideal position for those seeking a daytime schedule with consistent hours. The Barista plays an essential role in maintaining efficient operations at the coffee shop, ensuring that every customer interaction is warm, welcoming, and professional. Their responsibilities include preparing and presenting food and beverages according to established recipes and standards, operating registers and credit card machines with accuracy, and upholding a friendly and safe environment for customers and team members alike.

The Barista is expected to have knowledge of product offerings and current market trends in the coffee industry, using this insight to suggest improvements and innovations to the operations. This role requires a proactive attitude towards customer service, with the Barista anticipating customer needs and resolving issues promptly to maintain a high level of satisfaction.
