The current opportunity at CC Holdings is for full-time and part-time barista, cashier, and customer service representative (CSR) roles. These positions are based at the Eli Lilly Coffee Zon and Fuzion Cafes with weekday shifts available Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm, with varied shift lengths and no weekend or holiday work, making this ideal for candidates seeking reliable daytime hours. The barista role involves preparing and serving hot and cold beverages like coffee, espresso, tea, and smoothies with consistent quality and efficiency. Baristas are also responsible for educating customers about the menu, up-selling products, and providing a warm and welcoming experience. Cashiers handle transaction processing through a point-of-sale system, responsible for cash drawer balance, making change, and providing excellent customer service.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Prior barista, cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Arrives in proper uniform and adheres to all grooming standards
  • sets up station according to cafe guidelines
  • prepares all beverages as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • follows portion control and presentation specifications as set by the cafe
  • restocks all items as needed throughout shift
  • cleans and maintains station in practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills
  • uses and maintains all equipment in station properly
  • acts as the front line customer service representative, greeting customers with a smile and taking orders efficiently
  • demonstrates hospitality, respect and kindness toward customers and team members
  • merchandises products, checks for quality, ensures presentation and restocks
  • provides fast, timely and accurate service by communicating and organizing tasks and assisting other baristas
  • suggestive sells and keeps customers informed of products and promotions
  • follows all cash handling procedures
  • assists in financial accountability by correctly recording orders, receiving and giving change, and counting the cash drawer
  • thanks customers and invites them to return
  • acts as a role model and helps train new baristas and cashiers
