We are currently seeking a friendly and energetic Barista Cashier to join our passionate coffee team. This part-time role is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about coffee and enjoy engaging with customers in a lively retail setting. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for preparing delicious coffee beverages following established recipes and quality standards. Your role also involves operating the POS system accurately to handle cash and credit card transactions efficiently. Attention to detail and dedication to food safety standards are crucial in this position, as you will also be tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the coffee truck, including food preparation zones and checkout counters.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience as a barista or in food service preferred
proficiency in operating POS systems
basic math skills
ability to stand for extended periods
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
knowledge of food safety and handling practices
ability to work flexible part-time hours including weekends

Job Qualifications

Prior experience as a barista or in food service is highly desirable especially with coffee preparation
proficiency with POS systems such as Clover for smooth transactions
strong customer service skills with an approachable and positive attitude
excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
basic math skills for cash handling retail math and accurate transaction processing
knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced coffee environment

Job Duties

Prepare a variety of coffee drinks and beverages following established recipes and quality standards
operate POS systems such as CloverPOS process transactions accurately and efficiently
greet customers warmly take their orders and provide friendly assistance throughout their visit
handle cash credit card payments and perform cashiering duties with precision and integrity
maintain cleanliness of the coffee truck including food preparation zones and checkout counters
ensure food safety standards are followed during food handling preparation and serving processes
manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service quality
