Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a barista or in food service preferred
- Basic math proficiency for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Availability to work in person at the café
- Willingness to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety protocols

- Proven experience as a barista or in food service environments with a strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for smooth cashiering operations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a friendly, energetic attitude
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and food handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food preparation and serving areas
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing quality
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring the café remains inviting and organized
