Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a barista or cashier
Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast and Square POS
Knowledge of food safety standards and protocols
Basic math skills for handling cash and giving accurate change
Ability to multitask and work efficiently during busy periods
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

Previous barista experience with a strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques
Proven customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
Experience operating POS systems
Knowledge of food handling food safety standards and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
Ability to serve food safely while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in a caf? setting
Strong communication skills coupled with a friendly demeanor that fosters a welcoming atmosphere for all guests

Job Duties

Prepare a variety of coffee beverages teas and other specialty drinks with precision and flair ensuring quality and consistency
Operate POS systems such as Toast and Square POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
Greet customers warmly take their orders and provide friendly attentive service to enhance their caf? experience
Handle cash transactions with accuracy including cash handling cashiering and basic math calculations for change
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by properly handling food items preparing light food offerings and adhering to food safety protocols
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality service
Assist with inventory management restocking supplies and ensuring the caf? environment is inviting and organized
