Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 16 for temporary employment
- previous food handling experience preferred
- customer service skills
- ability to operate cash registers and handling payments accurately
- knowledge of cleaning and food safety protocols
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for prolonged periods
- flexible scheduling availability including weekends and shifts
Job Qualifications
- Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years of age to be considered for temporary employment
- previous food handling experience preferred
- confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience
- an outstanding attitude with willingness to learn and capability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment
- basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills
- flexible availability throughout the academic year including peak periods
Job Duties
- Assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments
- provide a friendly atmosphere by greeting customers and focusing on their positive experience throughout their visit
- take initiative to support store operations including operating equipment and cash register while ensuring speed of service and accurate transactions
- keep the store looking fresh by shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products or space within the store
- prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold food and drinks following prescribed recipes and techniques
- set up or restock displays, wrap, label, date, and rotate food items for sale
- maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following cleaning, sanitation, and operational standards
