Job Description
Geronimo Hospitality Group is a dynamic and innovative company that challenges the traditional norms of the hospitality industry. As a collection of award-winning boutique hotels, restaurants, and clubs, Geronimo Hospitality Group prides itself on being different from the typical work environment. The company believes that the status quo is inadequate and strives to redefine industry standards by setting the bar rather than raising it. Geronimo Hospitality Group creates experiences and destinations that leave lasting impressions, not just places for brief stops. This forward-thinking culture attracts individuals who are passionate about pushing boundaries and embracing hard work every day.
One of the standout venues within the group is Blue Collar Coffee Company, known for its expertly crafted espresso and coffee drinks made from beans roasted by Wisconsin-based Ruby Coffee Roasters. Blue Collar Coffee Company offers a diverse and robust drink menu that includes teas and smoothies, all served in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere that resonates with hardworking people who appreciate coffee with character.
This role is an exciting opportunity for a Barista to join the Geronimo Hospitality Group family. The position is integral to delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring every guest departs with a memorable experience that embodies the values and energy of the brand. The Barista will be the face of Blue Collar Coffee Company, entrusted with educating customers about the menu, crafting and presenting quality coffee drinks, and maintaining an inviting environment that encourages repeat visits. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative setting where their voice matters, constantly seeking ways to improve and make a tangible impact on the guest experience.
The day-to-day tasks include developing a thorough understanding of the coffee and food menu, responding knowledgeably to customer inquiries, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work and customer areas, and managing inventory to keep all supplies and equipment well-stocked and functioning optimally. The Barista must demonstrate a passion for coffee knowledge and customer interaction, aiming to leave each customer with a positive impression that fosters loyalty and enthusiastic word-of-mouth referrals.
Geronimo Hospitality Group values its team members and offers an attractive package of perks designed to reward hard work and dedication. Employees benefit from discounts, paid time off, training and development opportunities, 401K plans, medical benefits including 24/7 online care, pet insurance, and more. This commitment to employee well-being and growth reflects the company’s investment in building a strong future together. Joining Geronimo Hospitality Group means becoming part of a team that not only works hard but also celebrates creativity, inclusivity, and continual personal and professional growth. The company is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer, emphasizing diversity and fair treatment for all team members.
