The Barista position at Arnett Hospital Starbucks is a part-time opportunity designed for individuals passionate about delivering high-quality service in a healthcare environment. This role entails preparing and serving Starbucks beverages and food items, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation. The schedule involves rotating days with shifts from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, including every other Saturday, comprising 3 days per week with 8-hour shifts. The position emphasizes adherence to health and safety standards, including hospital sanitation and infection control, aligning with the rigorous demands of a hospital setting.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to operate kitchen equipment
Ability to wear protective equipment or clothing required by environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear
Adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption
Ability to climb ladders

Job Qualifications

High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred
Prior food service experience is preferred

Job Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality Starbucks beverages in accordance with standardized recipes, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation
Learn and maintain proficiency in Starbucks drink preparation, including espresso beverages, teas, cold drinks, and seasonal offerings
Perform food preparation duties such as warming, assembling, and packaging food items while following food safety and sanitation guidelines
Maintain appropriate stock levels by restocking ingredients, supplies, and retail products throughout shifts
Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by routinely cleaning dining areas, service counters, equipment, and workstations
Remove trash and recyclables promptly, adhering to hospital sanitation and infection control standards
Deliver excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by providing prompt, friendly, and efficient service
