In this position, the Barista and Retail Associate will engage with customers by welcoming them immediately upon arrival and ensuring all their needs are met promptly. Maintaining an excellent store environment is also crucial, which includes regular cleaning, restocking, and organizational tasks to ensure the retail space is inviting and efficient. Employees will gain comprehensive product knowledge through training modules, educational sessions, and proficiency testing, enabling them to become experts in all Ferris Coffee & Nut products and quality standards.

Handling cash and card transactions with the point of sale system is a core duty, alongside assisting with inventory management that includes stocking and proper waste procedures. Additional responsibilities encompass fulfilling custom corporate and customer gift basket orders, as well as routine maintenance and cleaning of coffee machines and other equipment. This role requires a keen sensory ability to evaluate brewed coffee and maintain quality standards even during the busiest periods.
