Job Requirements
- must have availability on weekends and be able to commit at least 20 hours a week
- must be able to work one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
- willingness to work various shifts including 10, 12, and 8 hour shifts
- ability to work holidays including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
- willingness to work during spring semester and summer
- ability to work 4pm to closing
- ability to work on feet for extended periods
- ability to comply with health and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- impeccable customer service skills
- previous experience in the food industry preferably as a barista
- ability to clearly communicate in English
- ability to speak other languages such as Korean or Chinese is a plus
Job Duties
- take orders accurately via a point-of-sales system in a courteous manner
- accurately prepare ingredients and make drinks following specific instructions for each drink
- prepare the kitchen and ensure ingredients are readily available at all times
- work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
- comply with health and safety regulations and ensure the store is maintained and cleaned properly
- maintain inventory including stocking and managing daily counts
