Job Requirements

  • must have availability on weekends and be able to commit at least 20 hours a week
  • must be able to work one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
  • willingness to work various shifts including 10, 12, and 8 hour shifts
  • ability to work holidays including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
  • willingness to work during spring semester and summer
  • ability to work 4pm to closing
  • ability to work on feet for extended periods
  • ability to comply with health and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • impeccable customer service skills
  • previous experience in the food industry preferably as a barista
  • ability to clearly communicate in English
  • ability to speak other languages such as Korean or Chinese is a plus

Job Duties

  • take orders accurately via a point-of-sales system in a courteous manner
  • accurately prepare ingredients and make drinks following specific instructions for each drink
  • prepare the kitchen and ensure ingredients are readily available at all times
  • work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
  • comply with health and safety regulations and ensure the store is maintained and cleaned properly
  • maintain inventory including stocking and managing daily counts
